November Sales Meeting and Cookbook
We had a busy morning at Palmer Foodservice! Trying out a few new products like our new concentrated liquid coffee from Douwe Egbert, Cajun Style turkey breast from Michigan Turkey, and the new Lamb-Weston Seashore French Fry! We tried a few seasonal soups from Vienna and looked at a few Tork dispensers! Like always, we have a few recipes for you to add to your cookbook!!!
Chicken Pot Pie w/ biscuits and cream of chicken (original recipe from bakerette.com)
Fill large pot with water and place frozen bag of soup in water. Bring to a boil to thaw. Let cool slightly before removing from water. In a bowl, mix frozen peas and carrots with fully cooked diced chicken. Pour mixture into greased casserole dish then pour soup over mixture and stir together to combine. Evenly lay biscuits on top of mixture, bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Egg, Swiss, Tomato English muffins (original recipe found on marthastewart.com)
Split English muffin in half and place one slice of Swiss cheese on half, toast muffin open faced to melt cheese. While muffin is toasting cook fried egg patty on stove top till warm through. Place on top of melted cheese, top with tomato and serve immediately.
Broccoli & Cheese Pasta (original recipe found on www.food.com)
Fill large pot with water and place frozen bag of soup in water. Bring to a boil to thaw. Let cool slightly before removing form water. In another pot, cook pasta according to directions. Once pasta is cooked drain the noodles, do not rinse. In a greased casserole dish (or nonstick aluminum tray) layer the noodles, frozen broccoli, and soup, stir to mix ingredients. Bake for 35 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve hot.
*if you would like to add chicken, layer in with broccoli before stirring
