February Sales Meeting

This Friday was our February sales meeting and it was another great meeting with tons of great products! To start off our meeting we had two Acosta reps come in and teach us about Lamb-Weston Premium French Fries. They gave us TONS of useful information and had a few visual props to go along with it. After the presentation we went right into our mini sessions. Our featured vendors for this sales meeting were St. Clair, Lamb-Weston, Saalfeld, King’s Command, and French’s. One of our Sales Managers set up a wonderful display of our Hotel/Motel breakfast selections, this also happened to be our breakfast for the morning! St. Clair brought in a few new items for us to try as well, a black bean and corn salad - 102503, a bacon ranch pasta salad - 103019 and a new red skin potato salad – 101028. Our St. Clair rep also gave us two easy recipes to spice up Mac and Cheese!

Mariachi Macaroni and Cheese

St. Clair Macaroni and Cheese, thawed – 502602

1 LB Lean ground beef

Lawry’s Taco Seasoning – 374500

8 Oz Rotel Green Chiles – 377103

2 cups Mexican Blend Cheese

 

Brown ground beef with taco seasoning until cooked through, then stir in green chiles. Combine taco meat and Mac and cheese, then top with Mexican blend cheese and bake at 375 for 45 minutes to one hour.

 

Tuscan Macaroni and Cheese

St. Clair Macaroni and Cheese, thawed – 502602

1 LB Spicy Italian Sausage

1 Cup Italian Rose Fresh Bruschetta – 230002

2 Cups of Italian Blend/Pizza Cheese – 320549

 

Brown spicy Italian sausage until cooked through then stir in fresh Bruschetta. Combine Italian sausage mixture and Macaroni and cheese, then top with pizza cheese and bake at 375 for 45 minutes to one hour.

 

Lamb-Weston showed a variety of their items, such as their sweet potato fries (399240, 555038, 555033), premium fries (555041, 555036, 555042), and tantalizers (182451, 182452, 182450). Saalfeld displayed all of their paper products and some of their new skin care products such as hand sanitizer and foam hand soap. King’s Command introduced a new item for us as well, the new Beef Steak Rib Patty – 510547. This patty is delicious and can be used to make your own version of the McRib!! King’s Command showed a few other favorites as well: the Mini burgers with buns – 510609, the Breaded Pork Loin Patty – 517545, and the Chicken Fried Beef Steak – 510614. Our last table in the mini sessions featured French’s! We are so excited to be teaming up with them to promote their new ketchup line!!
