Chicken Fried Recipes
We spent some time in the kitchen today playing with a few new recipes. Our friends at American Foods Group (King’s Command) have some really great products and we wanted to show you a few ways to add these to your menu. Two of our favorite items are the Chicken Fried Chicken (Palmer ID: 574584) and Chicken Fried Steak (Palmer ID: 573996). These items are perfect for a dinner plate, but also make a great premium sandwich!
For the Chicken Fried Chicken we made a traditional sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. We also made a Southwest Rancher. The sandwich has loads of flavor and is simple to make!
For the slaw:
½ head Red Cabbage, shredded (Palmer ID: 107007)
2 medium Carrots, grated (Palmer ID: 107009)
2 Red or Yellow Peppers, thinly sliced (Palmer ID: 107129)
2 Celery Stalks, thinly sliced (Palmer ID: 107148)
3 Green Onions, chopped (Palmer ID: 102990)
1 Lime, thoroughly juiced (Palmer ID: 107145)
Handful of Cilantro
Prep: combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss together then set aside.

Red Cabbage Slaw
Deep fry the Chicken Fried Chicken patty. Place patty on a Kaiser bun and top with red cabbage slaw. For a garnish drizzle (generously) with Ranch Dressing.
We dressed up the Chicken Fried Steaks up in a similar way, one traditional set up and one creative. For the Chicken Fried Steak we created the Down Home Sandwich. This sandwich would be great for those colder spring days!

Deep fry the Chicken Fried Steak. Place patty on a Kaiser bun and pour pepper gravy on the patty. Feel free to add your favorite toppings like sautéed mushrooms or onions!
We also wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about our new Mini Hamburgers from King’s Command! Use two of these little sandwiches and add fries for the perfect kid’s meal, or use three sandwiches and some fries for an adult slider meal! They are super easy to prep and come with their own buns!
